This tour will take you to the Cu Chi Tunnels, where you will experience the life of the guerrilla fighters and see how they used their ingenuity and resilience to survive and resist the enemy. You will also enjoy a delicious lunch at a local restaurant and visit some of the most important historical and cultural sites of Ho Chi Minh City, such as the Reunification Palace, the War Remnant Museum, the Notre Dame Cathedral, and the Central Post Office.
- Pick up at your hotel at 8:00 am by our friendly guide and driver.
- Take a private transfer to the Cu Chi Tunnels, about 70 km from Ho Chi Minh City. Along the way, you will see the scenic countryside and learn about the history and culture of Vietnam.
- Arrive at the Cu Chi Tunnels around 9:30 am. You will watch a documentary film about the tunnels and their role in the war. Then, you will follow your guide to explore some of the tunnels and see how they were constructed and used by the Viet Cong. You will also have a chance to visit some of the traps, weapons, and other artifacts that were used by the guerrillas. You can even try crawling through some of the narrow tunnels if you are adventurous enough.
- If you want, you can also experience firing guns at the shooting range (personal expenses) or tasting the fighter’s food and tea, which was made from cassava and pandan leaves.
- At 11:30 am, you will have lunch at a local restaurant near the tunnels. You will enjoy some of the typical dishes of southern Vietnam, such as spring rolls, grilled pork, rice noodles, and fresh fruits.
- After lunch, you will return to Ho Chi Minh City and continue your tour to some of the most famous attractions of the city. You will visit:
  - The Reunification Palace, which was the residence and workplace of the president of South Vietnam until 1975. It was also where the Vietnam War ended when a North Vietnamese tank crashed through its gate.
  - The War Remnant Museum, which displays exhibits and photographs related to the Vietnam War and its consequences. It is a sobering reminder of the horrors of war and its impact on civilians.
  - The Notre Dame Cathedral, is a beautiful example of French colonial architecture. It was built in 1880 and is still an active place of worship for Catholics.
  - The Central Post Office, which is another impressive building designed by Gustave Eiffel. It still functions as a post office and offers various services such as currency exchange, souvenir shops, and phone booths.
- Transfer back to your hotel around 5:00 pm. End of the tour.
